  Recording Checklist

If you are coming to the studio to record then here are some helpful guidelines to help you get the best results from the studio and to hopefully save you time.

Probably the most important thing is to make sure you are well rehearsed.

If you are using your guitar or bass make sure that they have new played in strings on them.

Make sure you bring spare strings on any other spares your instrument might need.

If you are using your own drums make sure they have good conditions drum heads on them and are preferably tuned.

Make sure you know exactly how your songs go and are arranged, a lot of time can be wasted writing or re-arranging them in the studio.

If you are bringing backing tracks make sure that they are of a high quality and in a PC WAV format.

If you are bringing backing tracks or files on a USB Drive make sure its formatted for PC.

If you are bringing backing tracks or files on a Phone make sure you bring the leads to connect it to a PC.

If you need to bring tempo maps make sure they are in a PC compatiable format also discuss this with our engineers first.

Make sure you arrive on time.

If you are recording for a whole day it might be a good idea to bring food or a packed lunch.

Its better to leave drinking alcohol till after the recording session.
